  1. I find it interesting how technology has advanced. In the past, it would have been thought that a robot could not fulfill this function because it is believed that technological objectives cannot be in contact with water due to their circuits, since these are not waterproof, and in a kitchen You must have a lot of contact with water and wet things that could damage the circuits of these technologies. However, technology has made such great strides that they have already managed to make the exterior of these have enough resistance so that water does not enter their system and is not damaged. In addition, I think it would be a way to streamline the process and give less attention to customers, apart from that it would be a great experience for them, the customers, to know that their food was prepared by a robot, and not by a person as they are used to. . However, I think that these advances in technology have managed to replace people in their jobs, and I think this would be a problem in the future because all jobs could be done by robots and people would be running out of jobs. All progress is good, the world needs to progress, but I also think that everything in excess is bad.

    1. I agree, it would be a great experience try something new prepared by a robot. However I prefer human chefs.

  2. Robots are making people's lives easier in different areas, technology along with artificial intelligence (AI) improve every day.

If a robot makes your food, you can have more time for other more important tasks.
But there is a danger of eating something toxic, because it is not supervised by a human, also the robots in the kitchen use knives and a failure of the robots could cause an accident, in addition the robots are very expensive and so is the maintenance.

It's good to be testing robots, but they shouldnt be put up for sale yet, they need a few more years to study human behavior and make actions more easily.

In every place where there is a robot, be it an office, a hospital or kitchen of a house, there must be an expert who knows about robotics to avoid accidents

    1. Well, it would result impossible to have a robot at home. Not to many people know about robotics. What about a set of instructions ? would that be enough?

    2. I agree that technology makes life easier for people, there are many robots that help with cleaning the home and you can take care of other tasks, just like in the kitchen. However, I see it very unlikely that an accident will occur since for a robot to be for sale, many exhaustive tests are needed beforehand and if everything is not correct they will not go on sale.

  3. The future is now: Chef robot
Finally, the ultimate kitchen gadget you never knew you wanted is here, but it will cost you about the same as the average of a house.
A London-based robotics company unveiled the world’s first robot kitchen, which it promises “cooks from scratch and even cleans up afterwards without complaint”. The Moley Kitchen robot, brainchild of Russian mathematician and computer scientist Mark Oleynik, promises to make restaurant standard meals without its owner having to lift a finger or order a takeaway, attached to rails fitted to the ceiling, two robotic arms hang down over your oven and hob, and can cook more than 5,000 different recipes. You just pick the dish in question on a touch screen, add the ingredients it tells you to the built-in containers, and it does everything else. It can turn on the oven and hob, pick up and put down saucepans and spatulas, stir, whisk and flip.
    But, how efficient is that?
We are talking about a robot that cost minimum £150,000, which means that it couldn't be considered as a "daily product" or as a "lifehack product", because, not every person can affort it and maybe not even a restaurant. I mean, is it worth it?
I don't believe a robot can replace a human touch, especially when it comes to quality restaurants and pubs, the changes and variations of produce would not allow a robot to adjust or change a recipe according to their flavour characteristics. A human chef brings a natural passion and connection to the provenance of ingredients which fundamentally shows in the creation and execution of menus.
I do however accept that robotics will help with the efficiency and consistency of menial jobs, but let's not forget that someone will still need to program it and stock it with produce.

  4. Critical opinion on the future of robots in places of work.

hello readers! today I'm going to talk to you about a very important issue that is taking place all around the world.
Robots worldwide are taking jobs humans used to do, a chef for example. Well, everything can have its positives and negatives aspects to it. Even though having a personal robot chef may be amazing, because you can save a lot of time on cooking, the robot will do your meals and you can concentrate on other aspects and activities in your life and that way save time. Having chefs robots around the world in real life restaurants can make real life chefs lose their jobs, because machines are taking over. Also, it may be that people or clients do not trust the robots enough with their food so they prefer to go to real human chefs. So, I personally think that having a little personal chef to cook my meals would be amazing, because I am lazy and do not want to do it may self haha, but I also think that humans should be able to keep their jobs so that can still make incomes and get to live happily

    2. I would also like to have a robot at home that from time to time makes my food, but I like to cook, so I wouldn't need it so much, it would be on break with me for a long time jaja

  5. Robots, the future chefs
In the last years many people have been talking about how the robots can replace humans, it doesn't matter about the area, the robots can make all activities that humans do. Now, cientifics and ingeeniring say that they can fabricate new robots that imitate a chef, imagine a robot that can cook like a human.
There are many videos talking about how robots can cook, and they explain the advantages and disadvantages of its. The first advantage is that a robot can measure the exact time that this food need, so it can be more exactly at the moment to como something it probably aren't going to burn food.
But a disadvantage is the they are not faster, it could be similar to humans, so the aro going to be the same, fir example in a restaurant the chef are going to spend the same time that a robot cooking some food.
And if you think that robots and the water are not friends, it could be a problem. In the kitchen the water is a very important element, and if in some case the water fall in the robot, their system are going to damage, and it can't work in this form, the creator has to selpemd much money to fix it, and what happens If the robot work alone in the kitchen, it couldn't finish the food and the client are going to be hungry.
Another aspect, is that the robot can't think if the food need more salt, sugar, or something like that. It only follow their programmation, it can't think like a human. A person can taste the food and think if it need something else.
In conclusion, I think that robots can't replace humans, at least, in the kitchen, in other areas of work is more probably that robots replace humans because it depends on the activities that have to do. But it means that many people are going to lose their jobs, by the way the, people who study ingeeniring system are going to have more opportunities of work because they have to create the robots and maintain it.

  6. the future in the kitchen will be de chefs robots?
hii people is you see this video you will see a robots than look like arms up and like
glued to the cupboard this are white and fast, its amazing and rare they look, theres no comun at all, the price its 10 000 dolars, only the poeple rich can buy them buy actualy ist more cheap hire a chef person who has the inspiration and creativity to make new meals and if he make a error can fix it easy with other meal, if a roboth make a error it explote and don´t kown what to do so they throw the food to other meals, don´t look for the error or even fix it experiencing.
this roboth also has a porcet of error than can be terrible because in this posibility thay house can be in fire or cut kids or even throw knives imagine guys this can cost a life.
if this arms robots will be in every where, the jops of being a chef are null, the restaurants dont have this sensation of a good chef because the robots make at all with rules and don´t experimentain experiment with food.
in a restaurant if the chef are a robot the manager or waiters and all staff can do it
well i don´t recoment you this product, if all buy it we can lost our humanity in sometimes importan like our alimentation.

  7. Is not a secret that the future will have a lot of robots in different places and they will replace a lot of jobs, for example, in the kitchen. Actually a robot can cook, basic things, but they can, in the future, a robot will can replace a chef and do te same job or maybe better than a human chef.
The video is an evidence of this, there we can see a very advanced robot from UK, and actually is necesary that a human control it, but, in the future is obvious that the robot will not need help, and this is only an example, the same will happen in other jobs.
I think that the robots will be the future of a lot of jobs, because the robots can be more efficient than a human.

  8. My opinion about robots in the kitchen and in other work areas.
    By: Camila Cedeño
I know in the future all change with the tecnology and our lifestyle, for do more easy the life.
But exist diferents opinion about the robots working like in work places, like a restaurants in this case.
I think this can work, for to give a best service and fast for the clients, but what happend with the people study for chef and they prepare for this much of their life? But also what happend with the those who live by creating robots? I think, I'm not here in position the decide who need more the job. Is complicate, the tecnology is a help, but i think it can't replace the human in areas like psychology or teach.
What makes diferents in comparation whit other species is think and feel, have empathy and this is the most important thing, a robot can't remplace the human interaction.
In conclusion, is use the tecnology like tool, but not as a replacement for the human being, the robots working with the humans, for the best life, but work for all, not only a people privileged. It's worrying in a moment the big companys remplace and remove a person need a job for your family.

  9. Perspective about robots chef

I think the robots chef are the excellent invention for society, because they facilitate easy activities and help get the job done faster.
I think the robots chef they may be a complement in the kitchen, but they should not do all the work, because they would take the job to many people, so i think it's a good invention, but not a full replacement for chefs.
I consider that the society wants to leave all the work to technology and the people thinks that its okay, but in my case i think that the robots shouldn't have all the work and they shouldn't replace humans in the different existing jobs.
They should make our work easier but not completely exclude us.
