Environmental problems in my community: Turrialba

I´d like to know about those environmental problems that are affecting our community! I know there are many people who are also interested in that! let's share and communicate your findings please!
In Turrialba there are many people who suffer from poverty, Turrialba has 38.7% poverty which may be caused by unemployment as a result of the quarantine and floods last year where many people lost their homes.
ResponderBorrarIn downtown Turrialba, specifically at the farmer's fair, there is a lot of waste of organic matter because people throw away fruits or vegetables that are useless or bad and throw them in the trash or outside, which causes an accumulation of waste.
ResponderBorrarThe Turrialba community suffers from the creation of organic and chemical pesticides because the CATIE institution for the care of their crops experiments with different mechanisms to eliminate pests in their growing areas and this produces a decrease in both the pest and the crop because it limits its growth since it often affects the soil and its properties for the survival of the crop.
ResponderBorrarAnd this may be related to the problems of industrialization because many times these industries work for the well-being of humanity for progress, but at the same time they attribute wear and pollution to the ozone layer because its excessive use impacts the humanity extinguishing the species and the human being for this contaminated being.
